None of This is True by Lisa Jewell is a psychological thriller detailing an odd connection between two mothers, one a famous podcaster, and the other, an average suburban wife. My design focused on the main character’s obsession with wearing denim fabric. I hand-embroidered the type with the end unraveling, similar to the character’s innocent facade unraveling throughout the book. The removable bookmark of a child’s drawing in the pocket allows for user interaction and symbolizes the character’s desire to take things that don’t belong to her.
