This book is a typographic analysis of Lucas Gini’s serif typeface “Magno Serif Variable”. The book focuses on the characteristics, history, and inspiration of the typeface as well as using the unique letterforms to create supporting graphic elements. Replacing typical illustrated graphics with the characters of the typeface allows readers to focus on the uniqueness of each letter and see it as an abstract form.
